What Is Hand Block Printing?
Hand block printing is a traditional textile-printing technique in which carved wooden blocks are used to transfer patterns onto fabric.
Unlike industrial printing, the process requires patience and precision.
A design is first carved into a wooden block. The artisan applies colour to the block and carefully presses it onto the fabric. The block is repositioned and stamped repeatedly to build the complete pattern.
